A Brisbane landmark. Built circa 1890. Transformed into four modern apartments without losing what made it significant. The work required two things held in equal weight — precision in the restoration and confidence in what was added. Original brickwork retained and matched. Imported stained glass windows reinstated. Terrazzo tiling, hardwood timber and blockwork extensions introduced with the same care given to what was already there. The Manor House is not preserved behind glass. It is lived in.
